Disney

All the best tips & tricks that have worked for us at DisneyWorld!

Download My Disney Experience App!
  • Its absolutely free & let's you select fast passes, you can see ride wait times, book any dining, and it’s linked to your photo pass! This is first thing I get on when we book our trip!
  • Select your first 3 fast passes for the morning and then you can select more for the afternoon! (60 days in advance for resort guest and 30 for regular guests)
  • Another great thing is mobile food ordering! No waiting in line, just place your order on the app and pick up at designated window.
Magic Bands
  • These are a must along with the app! They just make any Disney World trip so much easier especially with kids. You have everything connected to it, park tickets (so you can enter by just scanning your magic band), fast passes, room keys, charge purchases & add Disney PhotoPass pictures.
Get to the Park Early
  • We have always tried to make it early so we can make it to rides without the fast passes and then just rest during peak time & let little one take a nap. Then continue after that.
Dining
  • Book dining as soon as you know you are going to WDW because slots fill up fast! Again you can do this on the Disney App!
  • Some of our favorites are
    • Breakfast with Minnie @ Cape May Cafe
    • Chef Mickey (Breakfast or Dinner)
    • Ohana
    • The Sci-Fi Dine in Theater in Hollywood Studios
  • A must visit is the Satu'li Canteen at Animal Kingdom. It's by far our favorite place to dine in all of Disney & we look forward to visiting Animal Kingdom for that reason & of course to ride Avatar Flight of Passage as well!

  • Other then that we love just snacking out at the parks especially at Epcot, we try a little from every country! Some of our favorite snacks from the parks are:
    • Magic Kingdom
      • Mickey Pretzel
      • Plaza Sundae
      • Corn Dog Nuggets @ Casey's Corner
      • Dole Whip
      • Loaded Buffalo Chicken Tots at the Friar's Nook
      • Pretzel Dog with House Made Chips at Sleepy Hollow
    •  Epcot
      • Tonkotsu Ramen from Katsura Grill
      • Bratwurst from Sommerfest
      • Curros from La Cantina San Angel
      • Crossant from Boulangerie & Patisserie
      • Empanadas with corn from La Cantina
      • Sushi from Japan Showcase
      • Chicken Potstickers at China
    • Animal Kingdom
      • Blueberry Cream Cheese Mousse from Saltuli Canteen
      • Elephant Ear Pastry from Kusafiri Coffee
      • Soft serve ice cream from Anandapur Ice Cream Truck
      • Baked Mac & Cheese from Eight Spoon Cafe
      • Cheeseburger Pods at Saltuli Canteen
      • Mr. Kamal's Seasoned Fries (at a booth right behind the tree of life, across the river)
      • Buffalo Chicken Chips at Trilo-Bites (Dinoland)
    • Hollywood Studios
      • Double Chocolate Peanut Butter Cupcake at Starring Rolls Cafe
      • Carrot Cake Cookie at Sweet Spells
      • & I have heard great things about Toy Story Land & the new coming Star Wars Land. So I will update when we go soon!
    • We also buy the refillable popcorn bucket, for the souvenir and because we love the popcorn!

Be Prepared

Their are always things we check off our list before heading to a park since we do stay there all day and here are a few:
  • Backpack
  • Magic Bands
  • Refillable waterbottels
  • Snacks (applesauce pouches, chips, sandwiches, fruit, granola bars, nuts)
  • Sunscreen
  • Portable Chargers

  • Ponchos (dollar store)
  • Light jacket for mornings & evenings (October-April)
  • Extra set of clothes (for little ones)
  • Autograph Book
  • Glow Sticks for evening & fireworks (our daughter loves these & she doesn't ask to purchase the light up toys Disney sells lol. Parent win!
