Riviera Maya, Mexico | Day 4

Day 4: Last full day in beautiful Riviera Maya, we ate breakfast & hopped on a taxi to Tulum where we saw some amazing ruins on the side on the gulf coast. It was such an amazing view. & the water was beautiful with so many shades of blue.
After Tulum we got back on the taxi but made a quick stop by a coconut stand for my fiancé's cravings lol (he loves anything coconut). Then we went back to our resort & spent the rest of the day beach side & went kayaking. Later that night we had an amazing dinner at an on site restaurant.
 Amazing!

Riviera Maya, Mexico | Day 3

Day 3: Ordered room service breakfast & ate on my patio since my fiancé didn't have one on his lol. Then we were off on a bus to the cnote, chichen itza, & a small village on the outer towns. Such an incredible & unforgettable experience!!! Lets start with the bus ride there, it was really nice they gave us coffee & mexican bread. It was nice to see all the small villages as we were on our way there. Then we got to the cnote which is cave swimming hole, it was beautiful and the water was so clear although very cold lol, but that didn't stop us from swimming.
We then made our way to an on site restaurant that had really good food & dancers that entertained everyone.
We hopped back on the bus & headed to chichen itza.
Wow, it was such an awesome feeling to know that thousands of years ago people built those amazing structures & to actually be there walking around & seeing them up close.
Our tour guide did a good job of giving us a lot of information of how everything was back in that time. It kinda gave us a visual how the life they lived. Then it rained, but it was okay because they sold ponchos & I knew a little rain wouldn't stop us from exploring one of the 7 wonders of the world.
After chichen itza we went to a village 40min from there where it brought me back to my childhood when I would visit Mexico. The little plaza was so nice & had different stores to visit. While there we met a man who made ice cream by hand (BEST ICECREAM EVER) it would take him 6 hours to make a batch. We tried the coconut, it was so delicious!
After a long day we headed back to the resort to eat & walk around the resort grounds a bit.
Another great day.

Riviera Maya, Mexico | Day 2

Day 2: Breakfast, Beach, Pool & Relaxing in the morning. After noon we hopped on a taxi & headed to Playa de Carmen's 5th ave where we had dinner at an amazing spot called "Los Rancheros" (best ceviche ever), met a monkey named Micky, & got a pedicure by little fishes. After shopping we headed back to hang out at the hotel. We drank coffee & ate yummy crapes. To end the night the resort has a beach front lounge where we just laid on a bean bag & admired the ocean & all it's sounds at night.
