Jayleen's First Disney Trip!

I was that 18 year old girl that always day dreamed of what my future would look like you know the husband, the wedding, the house & of course children. Lol I hope I am not alone on this one.
But one thing I always pictured is the day I took my first baby to Disney & it's probably because of all the amazing memories I have when my parents took me.
Let me just tell you that it definitely exceeded anything I would ever dreamed for!

On the first day we went to dine with the characters because so many people recommend it with a small child but also they did say it could be a hit or miss. So I knew going into it she would either love it or completely be freaked out lol. & I am so glad she fell in love with the whole experience! She took a liking to Mickey, Pluto, & Lilo, but Stitch on the other hand not so much lol. The whole experience was so amazing & I would recommend it for anyone wanting to visit Disney. It's a little pricy but the food is great & for me felt very worth it!

The next two days were spent at Animal Kingdom & Magic Kingdom! We decided on Animal Kingdom because they're more rides for her than some of the other parks besides Magic Kingdom & because they just opened Avatar World also known as Pandora. Let me just say Disney did an incredible job with this new addition! From the amazing replica of pandora to the food which by the way is so tasty!! My brother is vegan & he loved the tofu bowl there! It's hard for him to say he actually likes something but he fell in love with the food that he wanted to come back for seconds lol. & the cheeseburger pods that I got were out of this world! A+ on the food in Pandora Disney!
Now the rides, the boat one that is called Na'vi Rivier Journey was okay. The reason I liked it was because of all the colors so Jayleen was so into it, but another thing was that is was a very short ride. I would probably skip next time because it is not worth the almost 2 hour wait.
On the other hand Avatar Flight of Passage was incredible! You felt as if you were actually traveling on the back of one of the dragons, you felt them breath as if you were on a horse, you smelled the forest & ocean, & you felt the mist of the ocean & water ways. I have never been on such a realistic ride before! By far my favorite ride ever! & the beauty of it is we got to ride it twice with fast pass! So the past pass usually get taken fast but I would check everyday & one day one became available & I did not think twice, I booked it right away! But the down side was that it was only for 4 people because my husband bought his sister & parents tickets separately & I had bought mine, his, my brother & mom. So when I found it I got it for the people I had on my account so that meant his sister wouldn't go on it because his parents don't ride extreme rides. So my husband decided he would skip to let his sister. But when I went to ask if that was the line for the ride I had Jayleen with me so they told me that I could use riders swap & I was blown away because that meant not only would we get to ride but everyone that wanted to go on it would be able to! Its like getting 7 fast passes! So my husband, brother, sister-in-law & I went first & then my mom, brother & myself went second. So my brother & I got to ride it twice! So get informed because I had no clue this existed!
I felt Jayleen out of everything she definitely loved the Lion King Show the most, I mean she was going crazy over the characters lol! I'll post a video soon! But to see her face light up like it did was what made my day, nothing compares to seeing your baby's happiness!
Such an awesome day!
Now Magic Kingdom was definitely all for Jayleen, she got to ride about 10 rides, watch the parades & eat so many different snacks lol. Although she wasn't to amused with most rides she did love Buzz from Toy Story lol. But my favorite memory was definitely when we were watching the characters perform on the castle because Jayleen loves watching them & gets so excited!

I love the fact that you can have an amazing time seeing your baby enjoy herself but also you become a kid yourself & have the time of your life every time!
By far my most favorite Disney trip yet!

If I have any tips to give it would have to be to get informed, & have a plan! The Disney app will be your best friend for this!

Family Vacation | Playa Maroma, Mexico

First international trip for our little family of three & the best yet!

If I could recommend a vacation spot to any family who have little ones, it would definitely have to be Mexico or at least anywhere that you can get all inclusive! Because let me tell you the headaches we saved lol. It is a parents paradise with the main reason that you never have to leave your resort if you don't want to because everything from water activities to all you can eat buffets/ sit-down restaurants, nightly shows & even 24hr room service is available to you when booking an all inclusive! It was the first time traveling internationally with our little & we were worried because it was a totally different element than she is use to, but it was so much easier than we expacted! She would sleep anywhere, food was everywhere on the resort & when she needed down time in the room we would watch tv & just order room service. Plus the resort we chose was so family friendly because we could take the stroller anywhere, the pool was perfect to be in with her & there was so many other families so we didn't feel out of place at all. The resort we stayed at was Catalonia Playa Maroma & it exceeded my expectations! From the hospitality to the food, I mean everyone was so nice & welcoming! & never once did we get a bad look because we had a baby & we were going into the sit down restaurants. But Jayleen did great the whole trip, I mean we did have a few times she  would start getting grumpy but usually it would be because she is hungry or it was nap time but we quickly would get her a bottle or put her down with her blanket (she needs it to sleep lol) & she was okay. She adjusted well & man was she the best sleeper over there!
Other than the resort we would get a taxi to a place called Quinta Avenida which is in Playa Del Carmen, it's a huge shopping center with anything you could need including top brands like Zara, Old Navy, Forever 21, ect. We went a total of 3 times here just because we loved the stroll & Jayleen loves walks in her stroller. On the second day there we seen that they had boat rides for $10 to Cozumel! So that night we looked up things we could do there & after discovering we could buy day passes to other resorts we made the decision to go because now with a baby we can't be doing crazy excursions yet. So we opted to just get a day pass to popular spot there. The next morning we left early & headed to eat breakfast at Frida's Museum & it was delicious! Also they gave us passes to come back & check out the museum part of it. Which we would have then but we had to catch the boat. Once we got to Cozumel we got a taxi for about $3 to the resort & lounged & ate all day lol. It was only $25 a person but with that they give you access to there resort, towels & credit to eat at their restaurant. Definitely worth the money & more! We got back around 9pm & visited the Frida museum which was amazing. I had no clue about her life story & its very interesting! After that we headed back to the resort & called it day but not before ordering room service lol! Wish we could have that at home lol.
The rest of our trip we just spent it relaxing and hanging out with Jayleen in her fav place, the pool & ocean lol.

It was a very needed vacation & Jayleen definitely gave us moments to relax & just lay back while she napped. It definitely was the best vacation by far! & so much more fun with our little!

We can't wait to continue to share so many new memories with our Gracie girl!
& soon we'll post our vlog from the trip! First one with our little!
