My husband really outdid himself this time! I really liked the idea of a small getaway before our little girl got here but with work, the zika virus being in a lot of the caribbean & it being cold, it all made it difficult to vacation anywhere on our timeline. Then my husband found the cutest hotel at Orange Beach, Alabama. At first I wasn't to into the idea but he really sold me on it because he said it would be warmer then Georgia & that's all I needed lol. Later on we found out he could get more days off of work so we decided to book an inexpensive place in Panama City for the first two nights & explore some new places on what's called the 30a which is a scenic highway that is 28 miles long & is along the Gulf of Mexico coastline in Northwest Florida's Walton County. Along this highway are a few popular towns like the ones we visited, which were, Rosemary Beach, Aly's Beach & Seaside. They were definitely the cutest little towns I ever did see!

Now things to do! These places are definitely more to just relax & eat, so there isn't much but for families especially with little ones what more do you want lol. Now we came in a season where it is still chilly out in the morning & the water is still cold but in the summer I can only imagine how nice it is to be there with family or friends. You can spend the day at the beach relaxing & then pop in to one of their great eateries or dessert spots throughout the day. If your looking for amazing beaches, great eats & a relaxing atmosphere then this place is for you! By far my favorite was Seaside just because it seemed a lot more developed then the other towns & the food we ate their was the best from this trip so far. Also they have some of the cutest shops!
