Holiday Fun & Activities

We love the holidays especially now that Jayleen is getting a little older and we are able to do more fun activities with her. We wanted to get her really into the holiday mood and be excited for it all so we planned a lot of cute little outings with her this month some of which we still haven't done but here are a few we have.

I saw one of my favorite brunch spots was going to do free cookie decorating and I signed us up really quick because they only 9 spots left. When we got there we just ordered coffee and tea and Jayleen got to decorating. They gave us 3 cookies for free and we could purchase additional ones for $1. She loved it especially eating all the icing lol. & we got an additional cookie just so she could be entertained while we finished our drinks haha. It was just a fun and chill activity, would definitely do it again!

So this one my husband George actually found. It is called Santa's Fantastical and it was amazing! Jayleen had a blast and so did we! They had different rooms with either activities or photo backdrops. They also had a stage where they would do a small performance every 30min. In one of the rooms they actually had photos with Santa which was amazing because we hadn't seen Santa so it worked out perfectly! Jayleen also insisted on getting her face painted and chose a reindeer which turned out really cute!

This week we went to a free show we go to yearly at the Fox Theater called Holiday Extravaganza. We always enjoy it because they have mighty mo playing, little acts and at the end they play a Christmas movies. This year it was actually not a Christmas movie but an old black and white film of Mickey Mouse because they were celebrating 90 years at the Fox and that's the first film they played. Jayleen loved it being the big Disney fan she is lol. It was such a nice little night out.

Lastly this week was my husband's birthday and we decided to go to Asheville to take Jayleen snow tubing and eat lunch at the Omni Grove. Unfortunately the tubing was closed because they had some rain the night before that melted the snow so they actually had the snow machines on and blasting getting ready to open again during the weekend. But they were nice enough to let Jayleen play in the snow for a while. She had such a good time and I can only imagine when we take her back to snow tube how much more fun she will have! Lunch was great though, and we also got a really tasty hot chocolate as we explored the resort!

Hope you enjoyed this rather long post lol,
