Monday Funday | Brunch & Coffee Date

This small outing has been way over due.
I have been some what stressed lately with the wedding getting here closer & closer. & I know this because I have super small nails now lol, unfortunately it's an old habit that just resurfaced. It will soon pass though.... I hope.
So since my weekends are usually spent working, I take Mondays off to do what ever there is to do before starting work again. Sunday night I was tired & in need of girl talk & who better then my best friend of 10 years to accompany me on a little adventure in the city.
She is one in a million for sure. She has always been there for me & always puts a smile on my face. Although I am older then her, sometimes I feel like she is the older one because of how she defends me haha  it's so funny because you mess with me & she is out to get you lol. One thing I love about her & will never get tired of is how she is the happiest person I have ever met. I don't say that lightly because she can have so many things going on in her life & yet she still puts a smile on & gets me smiling & laughing as well. Oh & the conversations!! Lol, we spend so much time together & you would think we would run out of things to talk about but no, never lol.
She is the definition of the sister I never had.

We decided to make it a brunch & coffee date, with a small stop at ikea.
First stop was brunch & we were starving! I was excited to try this new spot out called "The General Muir" because of the great reviews & it definitely met my expectation. The best roast beef sandwich I have ever had, no joke. Actually everything was great from their sweet tea to cole slaw & pickles. I don't know but everything tasted so fresh & thats what I loved about it! This is officially my new favorite!

After brunch we headed to Ikea which is always a good time, & I believe it was Jazmine's first time there. I love Ikea & I don't think I can ever get tired it thats why I signed up for the Ikea Family card because we will be shopping for smaller furnishing soon & also a few... okay maybe more then a few knick knacks lol. Oh but I did buy a piece for our living room that I also got in a fight with trying to get it into Jazmine's truck lol. If you think paper cuts hurt imagine sharp cardboard cuts, let's just say it still hurts (ouch >.<).

After Ikea we decided to stop & get coffee before heading home. & we stopped at yet another new spot called "Corso" & let me just say that today had been one of those days that was on point because this spot was the spot I fell in love with the most amazing mocha I have ever had! Also the service was out of this world lol (meaning great), from the fast attending to the fresh water they gave you (which was the best water & I should have asked what it was lol) it was all amazing.

Two eateries that have now become my favorite, I must say Atlanta has been good to me today lol!
I can't wait for another day like this just to sit down have a good meal or coffee & have great, endless conversations.
