Holidays in NYC! | Part1

The first time I went to New York was actually right after Christmas, so we were there for New Years. But we didn't actually go out to the city to watch the ball drop because we knew it was going to be crazy packed that day (not just in times square). What we did was just go over to my husbands family home & spend it with them which was in my opinion the best!
Since the time we went was still in the holiday season you could still feel Christmas spirit in the city & ever since then I had been wanting to go back & experience it to the fullest!

We finally did & it was amazing! Very cold but still amazing lol!

The first day in the city we started by attending church at Hillsong at their first service that day & it was amazing as usual! We then headed to all the stores to do a little holiday shopping & see the famous window displays! It was pretty cool to experience how hectic these store get during the holidays, especially before Christmas! It reminded me a lot of holiday movies & although I dislike crowded places, I didn't mind to much. The hustle & bustle is real this time of the year lol!
As we were strolling by we came up to the famous Rockefeller tree which is beautiful! I really wanted to ice skate but I don't skate well & I can't be putting little Jayleen in danger so I opted out, next time for sure & with our little girl!
We walked toward central park & found the cutest Christmas market with so many cute shops & eateries! We we pretty cold & saw they were selling hot noodle bowls so we got one & it was delicious! The perfect amount of everything, especially the kick of spice, yum!
We were pretty tired (especially prego me lol) after so we wanted to take a break so we started to head to our hotel that we were spending the night at & along the way we came to cafe by Ralph Lauren & it was the cutest thing ever! Plus their drinks & treats were pretty good.
We went & rested after. Then headed to time square for dinner & to finally get a Nike sweater I had been eyeing lol. Then it was back for a good nights rest!
First day was great!

Our Baby Girl!

Now that we know our little ones gender it's becoming so real & we finally have a name to that cute little face we always see in our ultrasound pictures!

Our baby girl "Jayleen Grace Hidalgo".

We've had her name picked out since we got engaged, we had a boy one to since he would be named after his dad. But the girls name always stood out to me & I would dream about a little girl. It really is a dream come true. Although we didn't mind what the gender was because we know the baby is such a precious gift from God & He alone knows our babies even before they are formed. We couldn't be more grateful for our little blessing! & We cannot wait to welcome our little girl!

As far as how she is doing, the doctor says she couldn't be better! & it makes us feel so thankful to see her growing stronger & healthier with every appointment that goes by. & now I feel her all the time which only brightens my day because I know she is in there moving and growing. It has been such an incredible experience so far & I am enjoying it while it last, although I am very excited & anxious for her to finally be in my arms!

Here are a few pictures of our gender revel & our little girl!

Can't wait to continue sharing this journey with you all!

Favorite Time of The Year!

I feel like fall started a bit late here in the south but nonetheless it's finally here!
There is nothing like kickstarting fall with a little trip to a corn maze or pumpkin patch & the one we go to every year never fails.
The endless corn maze, hay ride & comfort food always are the best here.

Now that fall is here I am starting to get excited for all the fun holidays, family gatherings, fall/winter decorating, & all the adventures!
& best of all is soon we will know the gender of our little blessing! It's amazing how life is, I really can't imagine life without my little one growing in me now. You know there was a time before I was pregnant & I would wonder from time to time how it would be when I was or how it would feel... & so far it's beyond anything I ever thought. I see our baby's heartbeat, our baby's little body & our baby's little face & the feeling that overcomes me is just so amazing & unexplainable! I felt an instant connection! I am so excited for the future & to finally hold this little one on my arms, but for now I am going to enjoy the most I can of my pregnancy. So sorry I got carried away lol, I just get so excited talking about our little one, but i'll save the rest for our gender revel post.

All I can say is these coming months are going to be some of the best ones yet & some I will cherish forever!

God is so good!

Until our next adventure!

Europe 2016 | Paris

| Part 2 of Our Europe Trip |

Paris!
We got to Paris in the afternoon so we just had time to eat then get to bed early because the next morning we were off on a excursion to Versailles. It was about an hour ride, I think lol (i was asleep half the time). It was stunning & just so big. We would need more days to cover the whole thing.
The rest of time spent in Paris we visited of course the eiffel tower, the louvre, the cute town of Montmartre, went to many museums, had breakfast at Laduree, ate a lot of crepes lol, & wondered more streets then I can remember. It was a romantic city for sure but depending where you get your hotel you might be walking a lot like we did. But we didn't mind because the buildings are just so beautiful everywhere you turn. I did head to sleep early one day, I think it was 6pm & being pregnant had finally caught up lol. Other then that I think I did pretty well. Now the language was pretty tricky here, we knew the basics but sometimes on the outskirts of town we had to sign with our hands what we wanted lol. It wasn't to bad. Paris was beautiful but maybe one trip there was enough because we seen everything we wanted to see there. Unlike Barcelona we didn't get to explore the outskirts which I wish we had.
Here are some of our tips for Paris:
1. Try avoiding restaurants in the tourist area, they are crazy expensive.
2. Walking is the best transportation there. You find so many cute corners & shops by doing so.
3. Try speaking french first, the people there appreciate the attempt.
4. Some museums are free on certain days, research!
